Hello everyone,

My name is Isamar Pion.  I am the President of the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations Council at Pace University for the 2012-2013 year. I am a proud Hermana of Sigma Lambda Upsilon/ Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc. I host office hours Thursday from 5-6pm in the SDCA office, don’t hesitate to drop by if you have any questions or would like to learn a little more about NALFO.

I welcome you to the website of the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations Council at Pace University. NALFO was established in 1998 to promote the advancement of Latino/a fraternities and sororities. NALFO's purpose is to promote and foster positive interfraternal relations, communication, and development of Latino/a Fraternal organizations through mutual respect, leadership, honesty, professionalism and education. 

NALFO at Pace University is a comprised of three national organizations: La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc., Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and Sigma Lambda Upsilon/ Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc.  We meet every Wednesday at 9:00pm in conference rooms C&D to discuss events for our council, as well as each organization’s plans and events for the semester. Greek lettered organizations have been an integral part of student life, enhancing both the academic and extracurricular experience for thousands of students.  NALFO shares a commitment to fraternal unity, family values and empowering Latino and underserved communities.

The NALFO council consists of: President Isamar Pion, Vice President Andrea MAyorga, Vice President of Programming Julissa Amparo, Vice President of Administration Kelsey Laro, Vice President of Finance Andrea Mayorga, Vice President of Recruitment Jonel Gonzalez, Senator Kelsey Laro and Alternate Senator Jonel Gozalez.  We are responsible for managing NALFO and making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

The National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations, Inc. (NALFO) was established in 1998 to promote the advancement of Latino/a fraternities and sororities. Today NALFO networks with 21 member Latino/a fraternities and sororities that are bound by a shared commitment to fraternal unity and the values that Latino/a fraternal life entails. The purpose of NALFO is to promote and foster positive interfraternal relations, communication, and development of all Latino/a Fraternal organizations through mutual respect, leadership, honesty, professionalism and education.
