Assistant Dean for Assessment & Planning / Director of Student Development & Campus Activities
Rachel joined the SDCA staff in early June 2010 from the University of Evansville in Indiana. She brings 8 years of professional field work experience in areas of residence life, study abroad, student activities, volunteer services, and leadership. She oversees the numerous office functions focusing on student development and supporting students as they create their own campus culture. Growing up in a naval family, Rachel spent most of her life living overseas. This lifestyle continued with multiple study abroad programs in England, Japan, and Russia. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Evansville in International Studies/Japanese and a Master of Science in Public Services Administration. Professionally, her background includes Residence Life, Dean of Students for a study abroad campus in England, and Assistant Dean of Students/Director of Student Engagement. Rachel is a member of the National Orientation Directors Association (NODA), NASPA, and the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW). On a personal note, Rachel enjoys spending her time outdoors, camping, reading, travelling, karaoke, and anything to do with animals.

Senior Associate Director for Student Development
Shawn joined SDCA as the Assistant Director for Campus Activities in January 2006. As a graduate of SUNY New Paltz, ’05, having studied Education and as a graduate of Pace in ’10 with a degree in Public Administration, Shawn recognizes and celebrates the opportunities for higher education. As the current Senior Associate Director for Student Development, Shawn works with student organizations, Student Government Association, and departments to enhance the core mission of the student learning experience outside the classroom. Shawn is an member of the National Orientation Directors Association (NODA), National Association for Student Personal Administration (NASPA) and is presenting at the Spring NCSL National Conference. While away from work- Shawn enjoys home life with his wife Megan, playing volleyball with many friends and spending time with family.

Associate Director for Greek Life & Leadership
Robert-Thomas Jones serves as the Associate Director for Greek Life & Leadership. He primarily oversees the 20 fraternities and sororities at Pace University- Pleasantville. Additionally, he coordinates leadership development programs and workshops for all students. Robert-Thomas graduated from Elon University in North Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2006. After completing an internship the summer after graduation with the Office of First Year Experience at the University of Arkansas, he received a Masters of Science in College Student Personnel from Miami University (Oxford, OH) in 2008. During his time at Miami, Robert-Thomas served as a residence director, academic advisor, and Greek Life advisor. After receiving his Masters degree, Robert-Thomas moved to Texas where he worked professionally in Greek Life for 2 years. In his spare time, Robert-Thomas enjoys singing, talking on the phone, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Associate Director for Orientation & Transitions
Niki Fjeldal serves as the Associate Director for Orientation & Transitions. She primarily serves as an advisor to student organizations at Pace University- Pleasantville. Additionally, she coordinates a number of programming initiatives including Welcome Week, Homecoming and Senior Week. Niki graduated from State University of New York College at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Communications. After working in Orientation and First-Year Programs for a year, she pursued a Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration from Canisius College. After receiving her Master’s degree, Niki moved to Georgia where she worked professionally in Orientation and First-Year Programs for 2 years. In her spare time, Niki enjoys traveling, trying new things and spending quality time with friends and family.

Coordinator for Student Development
Christine Bogulaski serves as the Coordinator of Student Development. She began her work in Student Affairs soon after graduating from Marist College in 2010, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Christine served as a Residence Hall Director at C.W. Post of Long Island University before moving to Albany, NY to pursue her master’s degree in Higher Education. Christine received a Master of Science in College Student Services Administration from The College of Saint Rose in 2013. During her time in graduate school, Christine interned at RPI where she was able to work with students to further their development and leadership skills. After finishing her master’s degree, Christine joined the Residential Life staff at Pace University before making her most resent transition into the Coordinator role with SDCA. In her personal time, Christine enjoys spending time with her husband and family, doing arts and crafts, reading, and being a photographer.

Coordinator for Leadership Initiatives
Jeff Domagala serves as the Coordinator for Leadership Initiatives. In 2011, he graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan with a secondary education teaching degree in theatre and English. Jeff earned his Masters of Education in College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University (Grand Rapids, MI). Prior to coming to Pace, Jeff served as an academic advisor, a keynote speaker, an advisor to an improvisation student organization, and a graduate intern at GVSU with leadership programs and at the University of South Carolina in student engagement. Jeff looks forward to bringing new leadership opportunities for students to campus! He is a member of NASPA, and Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK). In his spare time he enjoys nature, TedTalks, sushi, and exploring new places!

Sister Susan Becker
Coordinator of the Center for Spiritual Development
Susan Becker is a Sister of the Divine Compassion, headquartered in White Plains, and is currently the co-director of the Divine Compassion Spirituality Center, also in White Plains. Her professional background includes elementary, high school, and college - level teaching, spritual direction, and administration of not -for -profit agencies. Susan is a licensed clinical social worker and maintains a small private practice in Westchester County.
