iPad User Group’s New Name: “The Mobile Technologies User Group” for Students, Faculty and Staff
The members of the iPad User Group have agreed to change its name to “The Mobile Technologies User Group”, in order to reflect the broader range of technologies that are covered by the group. The group will continue to meet monthly on the following dates:
- Thursday, November 21st: 3:30PM
- Tuesday, December 10th: 3:30PM
All of the above sessions will be held in the following rooms: Miller 16/ Civic E 319. You can review what was covered at past meetings on the user group’s blog.
Respondus Workshops for Faculty
The future of computer-based test taking is happening now. Respondus provides a secure testing environment for face-to-face or online courses with a lockdown browser that restricts the user from accessing certain functions on their computer during testing. This is a reminder to the campus community to be vigilant in what emails you open and what links you click on. Spam emails may periodically end up in your mailbox. These types of messages may try to disguise themselves as authentic emails, by spoofing “From” addresses from people we know or known companies. READ MORE…
Dyson Course Evaluations
Course evaluation is critical in providing constructive feedback to faculty and their departments on the quality of instruction delivered at Pace. Dyson College is urging students taking Dyson courses to participate. To begin the evaluation, refer to the following link: https://www.digitalmeasures.com/login/pace/student. Log in using your MyPace Portal Username and Password. It is important that you complete all of your Dyson College course evaluations during the timeframe that they are available: Sunday November 24th, 2013 - Sunday December 8th, 2013 to avoid the Dyson College grade delay.
This semester course evaluation results will be available to instructors on December 27th, 2013. Grades will be delayed until December 30th, 2013 for any students who have not completed all of their evaluations by the deadline noted above.
