April 30, 2015 - Pace's Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work® Day!
Pace University's Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work® Day is based upon the national campaign, Take Our Daughters to Work Day. This special event gives children the opportunity to go to work with a parent instead of going to school for one day. Children will participate in a variety of activities throughout the day beginning with a breakfast and welcome address. They will also spend time with you in your office. For more information and to register, click here.
Every year, on the third Thursday of November, smokers across the nation take part in the Great American Smokeout. For smokers, we hope you can use this date to make a plan to quit, or plan in advance and then quit smoking that day. For non-smokers, we hope you can help a friend, family member or colleague quit smoking. Complete this very brief survey by November 21 and you will be entered into a drawing. (Four $25 gift cards will be awarded.) Click here for more information about the Great American Smokeout and smoking cessation at Pace University!
Summer Flex Hours are Here Again!
In recognition of your contributions, the University will again offer summer flex hours this year. This summer, each full-time staff member (hired on or before May 1, 2015) will have the opportunity to take every other Friday off, for three Fridays, or the equivalent of three days (2.5 days for those working an 80% schedule) beginning July 1 and continuing through August 10. Full-time staff employees must be actively at work in order to take advantage of summer flex days. Click here for frequently asked questions about Summer Flex Hours.
