Resident Assistant Application Process
Friday, February 1st
For priority consideration, applications must be received by 5pm. Application received after the priority deadline will be held and reviewed as needed as openings occur. Applications may be turned in (in person) anytime between January 22nd and February 1st, 2013 in the Office of Residential Life located in Howard Johnson Hall on the Briarcliff Campus. Please do not fax the application or send it with a friend.
Friday, February 8th
Applicants will be notified by the Office of Residential Life via campus email whether or not they have been invited to participate in the Resident Assistant Application Process Weekend.
Friday, February 15th – Sunday, February 17th
Resident Assistant Application Process Weekend. Those applicants who are invited to participate will receive specific details about the weekend’s schedule. In general, candidates should expect to be available Friday evening, all day Saturday, and for a portion of Sunday.
Friday, March 1st
Candidates should pick up letters notifying them if they have been offered a position, placed in the alternate pool or are not considered hirable at this time. Letters can be picked up at the Office of Residential Life between 12:00pm and 5:00pm.
Monday, March 4th
Confirmation letters due from newly hired RAs and alternates need to be turned into the Office of Residential Life by 5:00pm.
Week of April 22nd
New RA Welcome & Orientation. Successful candidates will receive specific information about this upon acceptance of the RA position.
