Dow Hall: Matt Landau (dowhall@pace.edu)

Matthew Landau was born in Kingston, NY and split his childhood in New York and the suburbs of Philadelphia. He attended Binghamton University, attaining a B.A. in Political Science. At Binghamton he served as Student Association President, earning him accolades through the years, including but not limited to, the Paul J. Battaglia Student Organization Leader of the Year.  Matthew has a Masters of Science in Teaching and a Masters in Public Administration.  Matt spent the last two years as a Residence Director at Pace and is very excited to begin his new position as an Assistant Director while working with the Dow Community!

 

Hillside House and Howard Johnson Hall: Derek Wills (hillsidehouse@pace.edu)

Derek earned his BA in Psychology from Nazareth College. As an undergraduate, Derek served as a Resident Assistant for two years and received the Nazareth College Rising Star
award. After his undergraduate career, he received an MS in College Student Personnel Administration from Canisius College. While in graduate school, Derek gained experience in
several Student Affair functional areas such as Student Activities, Orientation, and Residence Life. Additionally, he worked in Academic Affairs as an intern in the School of Adult and
Graduate Education.

 

New Dorm: Vincent "Vinnie" Birkenmeyer  (newdorm@pace.edu)

Vinnie Birkenmeyer is from Poughkeepsie, New York and recently completed a B.A. from Pace University- Pleasantville with a major in History and minors in Pre-Law Studies and Political Science.  Vinnie is excited to be back at Pace working on his Masters in Public Administration within the government track.  Vinnie also hopes to one day attend law school. Vinnie is a brother of Alpha Phi Delta fraternity and member of the Men’s Division II Tennis team, and served in many leadership positions as an undergraduate.

 

Valley House: Lauren Pizzolla (valleyhouse@pace.edu)

Lauren Pizzolla is from Thornwood, New York and recently completed a B.S. from SUNY Cortland with a major in Adolescence Education Mathematics (7-12).  Lauren is very excited to start working at Pace University as a Residence Director while going for her Master’s in Educational Technology.  During her time as an undergraduate, Lauren was very active in residential life including being a Resident Assistant for two years, the National Communications Coordinator for RHA and served as an intern in the Housing office.  Lauren is excited to start the next chapter of her career at Pace University.

 

Pleasantville Residence Halls

Martin Hall: Tiffany Bermudez (martinhall@pace.edu)

Tiffany is a recent graduate from Dominican College where she received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. Tiffany was very active at Dominican College, where she was a Resident Assistant, held various offices within Student Government, and helped to organize multiple service projects. Tiffany is excited to begin her career in higher education and we are excited to have her start as the Residence Director for Martin Hall.

 

North Hall: Samantha Bassford (northhall@pace.edu)

 Samantha Bassford is from New Jersey and a graduate of Pace University's New York City campus class of 2012.  Samantha obtained her B.A. with a Communications Studies major and a minor in Dance.  During her time as an undergraduate, Samantha held many leadership positions including Student Government Association, Residence Hall Association, POPTv, Orientation Leader and Resident Advisor.  Samantha is excited for a new experience on the Pleasantville campus and continuing her education at Pace.

 

Townhouse: Joyce Arias (townhouses@pace.edu)

Joyce earned a BA in New Media from Purchase College. While at Purchase, she gained more than five years of progressive experience in Residence Life. More specifically, she served students as a Resident Assistant, Senior Community Assistant, Office of Residence Life Intern, and as a Residence Coordinator. Joyce is currently working on her MA in Higher Education Administration at Stony Brook University and plans to graduate in the spring of 2015.
