Edwin G. Michaelian Institute for Public Policy and Management
Welcome to the Michaelian Institute for Public Policy and Management.
The Edwin G. Michaelian Institute for Public Policy and Management responds to the needs of the public and not-for-profit sectors for governance and management training and development, and for research to support and enhance their operations. The Institute is recognized as an academic resource by the New York State Commission on Local Government Efficiency and Competitiveness.
The Institute performs research studies and sponsors conferences, seminars, and other training opportunities for governments, not-for-profits, businesses, and the general public on major issues concerning public policy, politics, and government operations. The Institute works closely with the University’s MPA Program in placing student interns with governmental and not-for-profit agencies.
The Institute also works closely with the Pace University’s New York City-based Helene & Grant Wilson Center for Social Entrepreneurship. The Wilson Center serves the needs of nonprofit organizations and students with education, research, communication, and advisory services, with the goal of promoting social change through entrepreneurship.
Please contact us to discuss your research, continuing education, or professional development needs.
