Corporate and Foundation Support

Support from our corporate and foundation partners provides crucial funding for scholarships, faculty research, capital projects, and programming across the University. The following are recent examples corporation and foundation philanthropy at Dyson.

  • Con Edison: Dyson received $14,961 to convert a historic cottage on the Pleasantville campus into a solar powered classroom. The building, part of the University’s Environmental Center, will serve as a working model of renewable energy, educating a diverse population of Pace students, faculty, and staff, as well as high school students and other members of the Westchester community.

  • Friar’s Foundation: Since 2007, Pace University and the Friars Foundation have formed a special partnership through their Adopt-A- Scholar program. The Friars have generously again given a $60,000 scholarship which will be awarded over the next 4 years to five students each year ensuring the next generation of performers and musical artists.

  • The Bernard and Dorothy Layton Foundation recently awarded Pace University $18,000 in scholarship funding. Since 2004 this foundation has been a generous supporter of Pace and Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, helping our neediest students with scholarships.

We invite corporations and foundations to invest in Pace University. If you would like to explore ways to collaborate please contact Mark Godwin, Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at or call 212-346-1721.
