Hyder Khan

Hyder Khan - USG of Advertising
I am Hyder Ali Khan, a senior at Pace University. I am a business management major with a minor in psychology and a passion for the political world. I joined MUN last semester, and discovered certain skills and  core competencies which would have not surfaced had it not been for this challenging experience. I look forward to guiding those who are joining this elite club in the upcoming semester. MUN instills confidence, and professionalism within its delegates, along with the ability to express your own opinion without undermining the opinions of others. MUN has given me a lot, and now I would like to give what I can, back.

Michael Zona

Michael Zona - USG of Specialized
Greetings, and welcome to PNYCMUN's second annual conference! My name is Michael Zona, and I’m the Undersecretary General of Specialized Committees. I’m excited to be directing what I believe to be the most interesting of committees in MUN. I’m a junior studying political science and history, and I’ve been involved in MUN for nearly 8 years, accumulating experience in every imaginable committee. I’m looking forward to a great weekend of getting to meet all of you and engaging in a powerful learning experience. Celebrate the diversity of New York City while you’re here, and keep in mind what John Lennon said about the modern capitol of the world: “If I’d lived in Roman times, I’d have lived in Rome. Where else? Today America is the Roman Empire and New York is Rome itself.” What better a place to headquarter the United Nations?
