Our programs provide students with the logical reasoning, quantitative, and analytical thinking skills necessary to compete in today’s complex global environment. Many of our courses are offered online.
BS in Mathematics
This degree is ideal for those students who desire to achieve an in-depth education in mathematics. It helps prepare students for employment in quantitative or technical fields such as actuarial science, computer science, finance, operations research, statistics, and science, or for graduate study. Students are encouraged to choose a minor designed to enhance their professional aspirations. Our major classes are generally small, with most classes having between 10 and 20 students. This allows for a much greater degree of individualized attention for our students. In our capstone course, students learn to write papers in mathematics. Some of these papers, co-authored with our faculty, have appeared in mathematical journals.
Dyson College’s Mathematics Departments at the Pleasantville and New York City campuses are committed to providing students with a supportive learning environment that includes small classes, which allow productive interaction, and personalized attention and guidance from dedicated faculty.
Business Insider recognized Pace as providing first-rate integrated learning opportunities, where students “gain hands-on experience in their fields through internships, practicums, and fieldwork."
