Dear Colleagues,

The spring semester is well underway and the 2014 Commencement ceremonies are right around the corner. I am proud to be a part of this community celebration and hope that you will be with me in May to show your pride in all that our students have accomplished at Pace. Please join the Pace community as we celebrate the Pace Class of 2014.

  • 10:30 a.m. New York Undergraduate Ceremony
  • 4:00 p.m. Graduate-Level Ceremony

  • Friday, May 23, 2014, at the Ann and Alfred Goldstein Health, Fitness and Recreation Center on the Pleasantville campus:
  • 11:00 a.m. Westchester Undergraduate Ceremony

Commencement Registration:

In order to help us plan appropriately, please register to attend Commencementby Sunday, March 16, 2014.  You can attend one, two, or all three Commencement ceremonies. When completing the online form, if you elect to order academic attire, follow the link to place your order. You must register even if you have your own academic attire. Ifyou miss the March 16 deadline date, there may be a charge for academic regalia.

Purchasing Attire:

This year, we are continuing to offer the opportunity to purchase attire where Pace will pay for your cap and gown and you need only to cover the cost of your hood. If you plan on taking advantage of this great opportunity you must register earlier, by Monday, March 10, 2014 to allow time for your specific attire to be manufactured. The caps and gowns will be standard black attire. Hoods are customized based on school and degree. If you choose this option, you will be responsible for the cost of your hood only (approximately $100-$135). You may pay for your hood via cash or check (but not credit card) when you pick up your cap and gown. If you choose to purchase your attire you will be able to keep your customized academic attire and continue to use it for years to come!

I look forward to seeing you at Commencement 2014! Your presence has significant meaning for our students, their families, and the entire Pace community.

Sincerely,

Sue Maxam, Ed.D.

Assistant Vice President for Undergraduate Education
