Click the “Search” button.  Under the “More Search Options” section, click the Save Your Search link
  • Once your resume is approved and you have attended a Campus Recruiting Program Mandatory Recruiting Workshop, you may then apply for jobs.  Be aware of each job's Application Deadline since that is the deadline by which your resume will be forwarded to the company!  Do not withdraw your resume after the deadline even if the system allows you to.
E.  INTERVIEW SELECTION RESULTS/SIGNING UP FOR AN INTERVIEW
  • On a daily basis click the on-line "Applications" tab to review employer decisions on your applications (for on-campus interviews only).  Decisions will read ACCEPTED, ALTERNATE, or UNDECIDED.  (You will receive an email notifying you of any changes in your application status.)
  • If you have been ACCEPTED for an interview there will be a “Sign up for interview” link to click and schedule an interview time slot.  Remember to check the title of each job for the exact campus location of the interview.  NOTE: YOU MAY NOT "DECLINE" INTERVIEWS FOR WHICH YOU HAVE APPLIED AND BEEN “ACCEPTED” (Even if the system appears to permit you to do so)!!!
  • Some interviews take place at the employer’s location - not at Pace University.  For these employer site interviews, companies contact candidates directly (not online) if they want to interview you.  In this case your on-line application status for employer site jobs will remain ‘undecided’ or ‘offline’).
F.  IMPORTANT POLICIES FOR PARTICIPATION
  • Only apply to a job if you are genuinely interested in the position
  • Do not ever withdraw an application after the deadline, even if the system allows it
  • communicate with the career center and your counselor in a timely manner
  • Review your applications regularly and sign up for interviews as soon as possible if accepted
  • Show up on time and prepared for all interviews
  • Review eRecruiting often and check email for changes or important updates regularly
  • Notify Career Services if you are offered/accept a position (See below regarding deadlines.)

*NOTE: If you must miss an interview, you need to communicate with the career center immediately and send an apology letter to the employer.  More than one missed interview could result in removal from the program.

G.  EMPLOYMENT OFFERS & DECISIONS

If you have gotten a job offer -- congratulations!  You are encouraged to discuss your offers and decision-making process with your counselor.  We are here to assist you in any way possible during the recruitment and hiring process. We expect that employers will honor all offers made and place no pressure or conditions on students regarding acceptances. However, students are reminded to request extensions when necessary, yet make decisions in as timely a manner as possible.  Pace Career Services recommends to employers the following guidelines regarding employment offers & decision deadlines. A student can make a decision before the stated deadline, but please be sure you are willing to committ to that employer.

Fall Recruiting Period:

  • For full-time job offers extended prior to the start of fall recruiting (including offers to summer interns) we request that students be given until October 1st to decide.
  • For full-time job offers made during the fall recruiting period we request that students be given until December 1st to accept/decline.

Spring Recruiting Period:

  • For summer internship offers and full-time offers extended during the spring recruiting period, we request that students be given until March 30th to decide. Interviews conducted after March 30th should allow students 2 weeks to decide.
